Arriving
in Hamburg.
A new job, a course of study or a fixed-term project: there are many reasons to make Hamburg your home for a while.
Midtown Boardinghouse grew out of the idea of making that transition easier, with furnished living spaces and a welcoming, personal atmosphere.
We opened our first location at Martin-Luther-King-Platz in 2014, followed by Hoheluftchaussee in 2017. The experience gained from establishing, modernising and operating these properties continues to shape our work.

Temporary living at heart.
In 2014, we deliberately chose the name Midtown Boardinghouse. Our approach was furnished accommodation with a personal atmosphere. Today, this market segment is often known as serviced apartments. Our name remains, along with the idea of helping people settle into Hamburg and offering them a comfortable temporary home during their stay, whether for work or personal reasons.

We develop our own locations as well as boardinghouse concepts for property owners and project partners, from finding the right space through to ongoing operation.
Our project development covers boardinghouse and serviced apartment concepts in Hamburg. We adapt suitable existing premises and organise lettings and operations. One area of focus is converting unused office space into furnished apartments. Existing apartment accommodation and hospitality properties also offer opportunities for further development.
Every new concept draws on our experience of establishing, modernising and operating our former locations over many years. All our new projects feature apartments with private bathrooms.
